Of course, we know this is not the case however, according to the myriad flavors of Christianity, there isn’t a single instance throughout the whole of scripture where somebody went through their different steps. Based on that logic, there wouldn’t be a single person before 325 AD (the invention of Christianity) to receive the gift of salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I am not going to go through all the different steps because they vary based on what flavor (denomination) you choose. Some are quite simple just asking for salvation, while others can go to extremes such as picking up poisonous snakes and swinging from ropes and chandeliers (no joke here as it does exist). I will just stick with more of the mainstream path that is peddled by the majority of Christianity’s circles. This would typically involve feeling bad or guilty about the “life of sin” you have lived and ask for forgiveness of all your sins (plural). Then say a “sinner’s prayer” asking Jesus (NOT the Messiah’s name) into your heart thereby INSTANTLY receiving the Holy Spirit. After which, you get dunked in a tank of water in front of a congregation as a public display of salvation. Then you must go through a change in lifestyle by getting rid of all the sinful bad habits (cussing, drinking, anger problems, etc.) as “proof” of salvation in your life and depending on which denomination you are salvation can be lost and you basically have to start over or at the very least repent and “recommit” your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the previous steps I mentioned are complete nonsense as it is found nowhere throughout the whole of scripture. Sure, it sounds nice wrapped up in all the Jesus paper that man is in control of his own salvation, but nobody can provide a single instance where this occurred. If these steps were required, don’t you think there would have been an example somewhere in scripture?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about the disciples? Certainly, they would have gone through the steps. After all, they would become apostles and began spreading the Gospel of Yahoshua to all after His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. But He did not tell them to feel bad, ask forgiveness of ALL sins, ask Me into your heart, get dunked in front of everyone and change who you are. The Messiah just simply told them, “follow me” and they did. Now I could go into a full length article about those two words alone but that will be for another time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about the numbers of people that He healed? Would they go through the steps peddled by Christianity? I can answer that in one word…NO! The Messiah did not give them those steps in order to be healed, which was a physical picture of a spiritual matter; salvation through belief. Those that believed in Yahoshua were healed. Not a single one asked Him into their heart, got sprinkled on the forehead with water, or did a certain amount of Hail Mary’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thief on the cross then. Let’s take a look at what he did, or better yet what he didn’t do. He did not ask to be forgiven of sins nor ask Him into his heart. He certainly didn’t get snatched off the cross to be dunked in water and then thrown back up there. He also didn’t begin babbling a bunch of nonsensical gibberish either. He also did not change his lifestyle because he was about to die. Based on Christianese logic, the thief could not have possibly been saved as he didn’t do a single thing required to obtain salvation. Or did he?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the thief has been used by all denominations as proof of salvation, and all agree that he was saved even though he didn’t go through any of their steps. They even use this as proof of “death bed” salvation which would be extremely rare, and I would dare come close to say never happens. I am not in control of who gets saved and who doesn’t so that’s not my call. Again, I said “close to never” not flat out never. What I am saying is that none of the flavors truly understand what was being displayed as an example of obtaining salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what exactly was being shown with the thief? That’s simple; the TRUE path to salvation. Belief, professing Him before others, enduring in that belief without shrinking back, and being told that you are a child of Yah. The thief did not start out believing that Yahoshua was who He said He was. After all, He was being crucified along with two thieves, so how could He possibly be. After hours on the cross among all the punishment and ridicule he then began to believe. What he did next was astounding to say the least, when he told the other thief that Yahoshua did nothing wrong and in today’s terms to basically zip it. He said to Yahoshua “Adonai (which means Lord) remember me when you enter your kingdom. This was a public profession of faith and belief in who the Messiah was. After which, the Messiah told the thief that he would dine with Him in paradise. That was the confirmation of the thief receiving salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the steps then?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Belief in Yahoshua Messiah<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Profess Him before others<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Endure in that belief without shrinking back (time of testing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Receive the promise of salvation (seal of the Holy Spirit)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples of TRUE salvation can be found throughout scripture such as, the Passover journey, the Passover seder, the tabernacle construct, the priestly progression from the gates to the Holy of Holies, the annual Sabbaths, the disciples, the apostles, and the thief of the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, we know that people have received salvation. The whole point of this is to show that salvation as most know it is not obtained by the methods peddled out by man’s invention, Christianity. They push out different ways that they can’t collectively agree on and ultimately just agree to disagree as they are all “worshipping the same God”. Well they are right on that one since Christianity as a whole is man’s religion and therefore a lie and we all know who the father of lies is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
