\u201cYour boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Easter also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.\u201d 1 Corinthians 5:6-8<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course you know\u2014Paul says \u201cChrist our PASSOVER also has been sacrificed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But, according to christianity, since Christ fulfilled the Passover, it is something that is to be condemned by christians as \u201cold testament,\u201d \u201cunder the law,\u201d \u201cpharisaical.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notice, though, that Paul doesn’t say that Christ WAS our Passover, but that He IS our Passover. Now, how could that be, if the Father meant for us to reject the Passover once Christ fulfilled it? If Christ IS our Passover, why would christians exchange Him for an Easter (which is tied directly to Babylonian sun worship)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why would Paul say to \u201ckeep the feast,\u201d if he really meant \u201creject the feast\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ask most christians what the \u201choliest\u201d day of their year is, and they’ll likely say, \u201cEaster.\u201d Hmmmm . . . now, why would that be, if Christ is our Passover? And, why do you suppose that christians accuse those who teach the Passover (which shows the path to salvation) of being false teachers, while also clinging to a pagan fertility ritual as their holiest day of the year?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And, what does Passover have to do with being unleavened, when one understands that leaven here represents sin? And, it is specifically the sin that condemns, which is unbelief. To be unleavened is to be made righteous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Passover is tied directly to Messiah’s bride being made righteous. If Passover is tied directly to being made righteous, why do christians reject it so vehemently?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The answer to that is found in 2 Thessalonians 2:11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
