For several years now, I have wracked my brain trying to figure out how I could have been so blind that I never questioned my beliefs in things that are found NOWHERE in the scriptures, and the fact that I completely ignored the things that ARE in the scriptures, simply because a religion of man (christianity) told me those things only apply to a certain race of people (the physical Jews).
I was formally educated in christianity, and was highly active in it until I was 50 years old. I am now in my mid-60s.
And, I still see folks every day, who are just as blind as I was, vehemently fighting against the things that are literally taught throughout the scriptures—things the apostle Paul observed and taught to the Gentile converts—and claiming that the things they believe and celebrate, things that are not found in the scriptures, are actually the true things—or, they simply say that it doesn’t matter, just as long as we celebrate things whenever we decide to celebrate them.
It’s the most dumbfounding thing imaginable—all from otherwise intelligent folks who are just as blinded as I was.
Those who claim that the ordained days of the Father (His Sabbaths) are no more, or that they don’t really matter, and that “christianity’s holydays,” which are nothing but paganism with Yay-Zeus paper on them (the false name christianity gave to Messiah Yahoshua), do NOT know the Father, regardless of how much they may claim to know Him. There is simply no way to reject the Father’s traditions and also to know Him as His child.
It’s the false hope that false religions give, and is why Messiah Yahoshua told us about unsaved christians in Matthew 7:21-23. They are part of a counterfeit of the true faith—something that was invented after the New Testament was written, and wasn’t codified until the fourth century by a sun-worshiping, Zeus-worshiping, pagan emperor—and he called his new invention “the christian religion,” or “christianity.”
And, christians will still try to debate and claim that they know they are saved, and that it doesn’t matter what days they celebrate because “He knows their heart,” not even realizing what a truly terrifying thought that is for those who ignore His truths, and embrace the false traditions of men, like those taught by christianity.
I have pity for them all. I truly do, for I was once there, and but for the indescribable mercy shown to me by the Holy Spirit, who took one issue that I decided to research for myself, and used that to illuminate my heart and mind to see the light of His truths, and how christianity is nothing but a counterfeit of them, I would likely still be lost in the “church” (Circe—goddess daughter of the sun god).
So, I try each day to warn others of their vain worship that is based not on the things of the Father, but on the corrupt traditions of men—the false SUNday assembling, and all the false pagan holydays in christianity; and most ignore me, while some try to debate against the Holy Spirit’s truths, until they realize their false beliefs are no match for the Spirit’s truths.
Sadly, most of them will walk away sad like the rich young ruler, and cling to their false teachings, and their false eternal security.
But, occasionally, there will be some folks who see it. The Holy Spirit opens their eyes to recognize His truths, and I get to sense their joy as they start to see the vast richness of the truths in Messiah Yahoshua’s Gospel—and they, too, start to wonder how they could have believed so many religious lies that are nowhere to be found in scripture, or are outright perversions of what IS in scripture.
It is those folks who the Holy Spirit sends my way from time to time, for me to remember that HE uses His truths as He desires to accomplish His will in Yah’s true people. And, the rest of them won’t EVER believe, regardless of how much the truth is put in front of them.
I have pastor friends who have been challenged with the Holy Spirit’s truths for years, but they still cling to the false teachings of christianity.
For those who reject the Spirit’s truths, it’s sad; scripture is clear that most people will not hear His truths, but will cling to what is false.
Messiah Yahoshua was BORN on the Feast of Tabernacles, was CRUCIFIED on Passover, was IN THE TOMB on the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and He ROSE AGAIN on the Feast of Firstfruits. The spiritual COVENANT (of marriage) was given on the Feast of Weeks (Acts 2).
Messiah’s bride will be GATHERED to the Bridegroom and taken to the wedding chamber on the Feast of Trumpets, and ten years later at the end of Armageddon, He will SEPARATE the sheep from the goats on the Feast of Atonement, and He will dedicate His millennial TEMPLE on the Feast of Tabernacles.
When did you hear THAT in your christianese “church”? Probably never, is what I’m guessing. But THAT is the true Gospel of Messiah Yahoshua, and why Paul said that the entire Sabbath system is of Messiah, and is a shadow of things that ARE TO COME.
