WHEN ARE THE “LAST DAYS”?

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says Yah,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17

Take any one-week period. Sunday is the first day. Sunday through Tuesday would be the first days. Wednesday falls between the first days and the last days. Thursday through Saturday would be the last days of the week.

But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with Yah one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 2 Peter 3:8

Man is given a “week” on the earth since Adam’s fall. For the first six days, man has dominion over the earth. The final day, Messiah will reign from Jerusalem, and then this earth will be melted down, and a new heaven and earth created.

From Adam to Abraham was 2000 years (2 days). From Abraham to Messiah was 2000 years (2 days). It was then that the Holy Spirit was poured out on all mankind as the New Covenant. The first four “days” of the week having passed, it began the final three “days,” or “the last days.”

When the prophets were shown the “last days,” and wrote about them, they saw the final 3000 years simultaneously. So, when Joel wrote the prophecies that Peter understood in Acts 2, those prophecies covered the entirety of the last 3000 years of man’s time on this earth.

The final three “days” are the “last days” – days five, six, and seven. We are drawing near to the end of day six right now, which will usher in the final day—Messiah’s millennial reign on the earth. The barley harvest is getting ready to end, and then the wheat harvest will encompass the final ten literal years before the start of the final 1000 years for this planet.
