EBENEZER SCROOGE WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG. BAH HUMBUG!

It is believed by many that Charles Dickens displayed blatant hatred of the Jews in his writings, with grotesque Jewish characters like Fagin and Scrooge—his literary works are often peppered with direct jabs at physical Jews (I’m pretty confident that Dickens didn’t actually know who the true Jews are).

A broad look at the story that features Ebenezer Scrooge shows a Jew who was obviously opposed to christianity’s christ-mass; but, his redemption, according to Dickens’ view, is that he relinquishes those beliefs in the end to embrace the annual tradition, suggesting that true redemption is to believe something that is actually false, simply because it is a tradition of christianity.

The moral Dickens tries to promulgate: to reject christ-mass is to be an evil, heartless person; but, to embrace the christ-mass is to be moral, good-hearted, and worthy of praise.

Throughout the story, Dickens has Scrooge uttering a single phrase when he is disgusted by the christ-mass events around him: “Bah Humbug.” A humbug is a real thing. It is something that is contrived to deceive. It is a hoax, or a fraud. It is nonsense and rubbish.

So, let’s look at the facts.

Messiah Yahoshua was born on the Feast of Tabernacles, which is in the fall each year. He came to “tabernacle” with men. The eighth day of Tabernacles is the day commemorating a “new beginning,” and the eighth day of Tabernacles is when Messiah Yahoshua was circumcised.

Of course, understanding that physical foreshadows merely represent future-revealed spiritual real substances, Paul tells us in Romans 2:29 that those who receive the seal of the Holy Spirit (the covenant) have hearts that are circumcised—it has nothing to do with anything physical. And, those who receive the spiritual covenant are the true Jews (yahudiy).

We are also told that receiving the Holy Spirit gives life to a person’s dead spirit. It’s a new life—a new beginning, which is the spiritual real substance of what was foreshadowed by Abraham’s covenant of physical circumcision, and is clearly shown in the meaning of the eighth day of Tabernacles, and its being the day Messiah Yahoshua was circumcised.

The early christians (not the believers in the New Testament, but those who sought to alter the true faith after all the NT writers had died) hated the Jews with a passion; and, because of that hatred, they desired to separate themselves from anything that appeared or sounded “Jewey.” So, they stripped the faith of its foundations, which are the Father’s traditions, including His Sabbaths.

By obscuring the wealth of doctrinal truths found in the Sabbaths, they devised their own holydays that were based on the pagan celebrations they were already observing. They changed the names of the disciples in the scriptures to make them sound more Greco-Roman (stripping away the Jewey sounding names), and even crafted false names for the Father Yah, and His Son Yahoshua.

One of the false celebrations hijacked by the corrupt syncretism of christianity revolved around the birthday of the various sun gods, like Baal, Horus, Osiris, Attis, Mithra, Heracles, Dionysus, Tammuz, Adonis, and others, on December 25.

By hiding Messiah Yahoshua’s name, which is Hebrew in origin, they merely associated Him with their pagan sun gods, and decided to move the day of His birth (an annual celebration found nowhere in the scriptures) to that of the sun god, who is ultimately Baal.

They did the same thing with their pagan fertility ritual called easter/ishtar, and also rejected the Father’s weekly Sabbath by adopting the “venerable day of the sun” as their weekly day of assembling (the SUNday is christianity’s day of unholy convocation).

The entire construct is a humbug! It is all a fraud—a hoax. It is a practice of deceit to shield people from the true Messiah, who was born on the Feast of Tabernacles (in the fall), was crucified on Passover (a Wednesday that year), rose again on the Feast of Firstfruits (during the night), and the spiritual covenant of marriage was given to His bride Y’isra-el on the Feast of Weeks (Acts 2).

What Dickens portrayed as evil is actually what is true (the proper rejection of the christ-mass), and what he portrayed as good is actually false, blasphemous, and evil (embrace of the counterfeit).

What does scripture say about such a thing?

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20.

The christ-mass is, by definition, a humbug. Ebenezer Scrooge was right all along (even though Dickens chose to portray him as a nasty, mean, old man), until he chose to embrace the lie, and be hailed as a hero by those who peddle the lies of christianity.
