The Word (dabar/logos) was made flesh, and dwelt among us. He is Messiah. Now, from earthly birth until His death and resurrection, what religion was He? He was a Jew. And, just like His Father, He never changes.
What does that mean? Does that mean that true believers are to be Judaizers? Those who are Judaizers seek to place people under the law of Moses, but Messiah’s Passover sacrifice took away the perfection (details) and penalty of the law—He fulfilled the law. He didn’t abolish it, but He took away the physical aspects of it, leaving only its spiritual meanings and applications.
And, with His Passover sacrifice, the physical foreshadows were revealed as their spiritual real substances. The Feast of Weeks (seven Sabbaths plus one day from Firstfruits) commemorated the giving of the physical covenant at Mt. Sinai, and on that first Feast of Weeks following Messiah’s resurrection, the spiritual real substance of that physical covenant was revealed—the pouring out of the spiritual covenant on Messiah’s bride—the seal of the Holy Spirit.
The Ten Commandments were a physical picture of the Holy Spirit’s seal, and He is the spiritual real substance. The Ark of the Covenant was a picture of the bride indwelt by the covenant.
Now, once Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits were fulfilled, Yahoshua’s Gospel, which came through the physical Jews, was freely opened to all on the Feast of Weeks. The physical restraints that had been against the Gentiles (as a picture of the world) were removed, and the physical foreshadows gave way to their actual spiritual substances.
But take note, scripture is clear that there was not a different religion invented by the real substances being revealed. NO! The Gentiles were ADDED to Yah’s family, and Messiah’s bride is who was foreshadowed by the ancient earthly nation of Y’isra-el. Paul takes great care to explain that those who are Messiah’s bride are the spiritual real substance of what was foreshadowed by the physical Jews.
In Romans 2:29, Paul explains that being a Jew—the actual meaning of the term, its real substance—is to have a heart that is circumcised, which is a reference to spiritual life and reproduction. It is those who have the Holy Spirit who are Jews—they are the real substance of what the physical Jews had symbolized.
He also points out that the real substance of Abraham’s descendants are those who have the Holy Spirit, and that is not determined by anything physical or outward. They are the real substance of Y’isra-el, and they are the true Jews (Galatians 3:28-29).
Those who are adopted by the Father are added to His family—He did not create a different family. What He gives to His children as a sign is still His family’s sign. His traditions are still His, and they are all physical foreshadows of spiritual real substances, whether they are His Sabbaths, the wedding traditions, or the temple ordinances and practices. They all teach His children aspects and details of the coming wedding feast.
So, those He adopts are made Jews in His eyes by the indwelling Holy Spirit. And, those who are sealed by the covenant (Holy Spirit) are Jews by marriage to Messiah, as He can only marry a Jew.
Christianity was invented after all the New Testament writers had died, and was created by stripping the faith of everything that was associated with Jews, and replacing those things with pagan rituals and traditions. Because the Father’s traditions were abandoned by christianity, the path to salvation, which is shown in the traditions, was counterfeited by christianity into something man decides and declares of himself.
Because christianity is a counterfeit of the true faith, there is no possible way for Messiah’s bride to be christian, as one cannot be both a christian (counterfeit) AND a Jew (those who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit). One cannot eat both at the Father’s table and at a counterfeit of it.
That is precisely why, in Matthew 7:21-23, Messiah Yahoshua tells the christians who are trying to convince Him that they were actually born again (citing all the wonderful things they had done), that He never knew them. They were not part of Yah’s family. They were never made Jews. They were lost christians who receive the most tragic eternal news imaginable on that day—that their belief system was not of the Holy Spirit, but was a counterfeit that man created.
I am a Jew by adoption and by marriage (it is spiritual, not physical), for I have been personally and directly confirmed by the Holy Spirit that I am a child of Yah. Only those who have received that literal confirmation from the Holy Spirit have any claim to the title of Jew, and it is the true Jews who comprise the true Y’isra-el, and are Messiah’s true bride.
