There is a common notion among many in christianity that there will be tribulation on the earth, and it will last SEVEN YEARS. The reason those folks believe it will be seven years is because christianity abolished the Father’s traditions, and the prophetic calendar can only be understood through the prism of the traditions, which is why Paul taught those traditions to the Gentile converts and told them to “keep them” (1 Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15).
Trying to interpret the prophetic texts, apart from the compass of discernment Yah’s true children have been given by which to understand the coming things (the traditions), is as impossible to do as someone trying to understand advanced mathematical formulas without knowing the basics of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
So, those in christianity see prophetic texts that speak of two periods of 3 ½ years during the tribulation, and they erroneously assume that the entire tribulation is seven years. That would mean that an unknown leader arrives on the scene and immediately brokers an international peace treaty. Yeah, that won’t happen. He must first rise to enough power to be able to do that.
Also, because those in christianity mostly reject the Father’s traditions, they have no idea that “the day or hour no man knows” (Matthew 24:36), “the last trump” (1 Corinthians 15:52), and “the feast of the shout” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) all refer to the same day—the Feast of Trumpets, which the Jews also called “the wedding of the Messiah” (there cannot be a wedding without a bride).
The Feast of Trumpets is the next feast day to be fulfilled, as Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Weeks were already fulfilled by Messiah’s crucifixion on Passover, entombment during Unleavened Bread, resurrection on Firstfruits, and the giving of the wedding covenant on Weeks.
Thus, most christians have no understanding that Messiah’s bride Y’isra-el will be fully removed from the earth on the Feast of Trumpets, which is the first of the fall feasts, also called the judgment feasts (and Yah says He will judge His house Y’isra-el first—1 Peter 4:17).
So, the Feast of Trumpets will be fulfilled, which will be the last day of the spiritual barley harvest, and that will start the spiritual wheat harvest (tribulation saints). The next feast on the calendar after Trumpets is the Feast of Atonement, which will be fulfilled at the end of Armageddon with the separating of the sheep and goats.
How long is it between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement? It is ten days. Now, Daniel’s 70th week prophecy (Daniel 9:27), which details the Antichrist’s peace treaty, is a period of seven years, or actually, two periods of 3 ½ years—the second half being the period during which the Antichrist is indwelt by Satan himself. That 70th “week” is actually a period of seven years, so each “day” of that week is a year.
Thus, the ten “days” from Trumpets to Atonement will be a period of ten years, which means that the entire tribulation period, starting with the revealing of the Antichrist immediately after the bride is removed from the earth (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7), will be ten years.
During that first three years after the bride is removed, the Antichrist will begin rising in international power. He will be a physical Jew who is a virgin. Also during that three years, the Jews will be building the temple they have been wanting to build for nearly two millennia now.
At the end of that initial three years, the Antichrist will declare his false peace treaty, which will begin the seven-year countdown to Armageddon. For the first 3 ½ years of his treaty, the Antichrist will oversee a period of relative global peace; but, there will be a series of events that will remove that peace from the earth at the end of the 3 ½ years (Revelation 6:4).
First, the Antichrist will be assassinated by a wound to his head, and Satan and his demons will be thrown out of heaven (Revelation 12:9). At that point, Satan himself will indwell the dead body, and resurrect it. He will then be the Antichrist who will sit in the temple and demand that he be worshiped as the Almighty God. It is during that final 3 ½ year period that the forces of darkness will be unleashed without limit upon the earth, and those who have believed in Messiah Yahoshua will be systematically killed (most by beheading).
At the end of the ten-year period of tribulation, Messiah Yahoshua will return to the earth bringing with Him the friends of the Bridegroom (OT saints) and friends of the bride (tribulation saints) to set up His 1000-year reign on the earth. His bride, however, will remain in the wedding chamber, according to the wedding traditions, and she will be revealed at the wedding feast, which takes place in the new heaven (Revelation 21:2).
This reveals another common error in christianity—the false teaching that the bride will return with Messiah at His second coming.
Additionally, the Jews called the ten days from Trumpets to Atonement “the Days of Awe,” and it is considered to be ten days of reflection and repentance. Those ten days of awe correspond directly to the ten years of tribulation.
Most in christianity have never heard these truths, because the counterfeit they cling to is devoid of the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of truth.
How can folks claim to be members of Messiah Yahoshua’s bride, but not know the Bridegroom’s actual name (Yahoshua), or any of the facts and details surrounding the actual wedding? They don’t know because they have been deceived by a counterfeit.
